About the Interface Card Green

The Interface Card (Green) is the negative-switching version of our interface card. It brings battery power, three phase alternator input, analog sensors and digital inputs in, and sends battery power to the controller, starter motor, stop solenoid, MC, GC, Auto, canopy lamp and three phase output to the controller.

Choose this card when your controller switches outputs to negative. Proper connectors avoid loose wiring, a resettable fuse protects against high voltage and current, the AC connector has 4 kV isolation, and back-EMF protection keeps the electronics safe. It works on 12 V DC.

Terms explained

What the technical words mean

MC / GC: Mains Contactor and Genset Contactor: the two contactors that connect the load to mains power or to the generator.
Back EMF protection: Relay coils and solenoids produce a voltage spike when switched off. This protection absorbs it so the electronics are not damaged.
Resettable fuse: A fuse that trips on overload and resets itself once the fault is removed, so it never needs replacing.
Positive / negative switching: Whether the controller output connects a load to battery positive or to battery negative. The interface card must match the controller.
