About the Interface Card White
The Interface Card (White) sits between the genset and its controller and takes care of all the connections in one place. Battery power, three phase alternator input, analog sensors and digital inputs come in on one side; battery power to the controller, three phase output, starter motor, stop solenoid, MC, GC, Auto and canopy lamp outputs leave on the other.
This card uses positive switching. Proper connectors avoid loose wiring, a resettable fuse protects against high voltage and current, the AC power connector has 4 kV isolation, and back-EMF protection guards the electronics when relays and solenoids switch off. Troubleshooting is easy because every signal has its own clearly marked terminal. It works on 12 V DC.

What the technical words mean
- MC / GC
- Mains Contactor and Genset Contactor: the two contactors that connect the load to mains power or to the generator.
- Back EMF protection
- Relay coils and solenoids produce a voltage spike when switched off. This protection absorbs it so the electronics are not damaged.
- Resettable fuse
- A fuse that trips on overload and resets itself once the fault is removed, so it never needs replacing.
- Positive / negative switching
- Whether the controller output connects a load to battery positive or to battery negative. The interface card must match the controller.
