About the HR01
The HR01 combines an engine hour meter and a tachometer in one 72 × 72 mm unit. Two separate red displays show RPM and running hours at the same time, so nothing has to be switched to read them. Running hours help plan oil changes and servicing on time, while the RPM display confirms the engine is running at the right speed.
The front panel has a PROG / RESET button for setting it up, an OS TEST button to check the over speed protection, and a RUN lamp. A separate relay board with two relays and a plug-in terminal block handles the wiring.
It is field settable, so it can be set up for the engine on site, and it has a built-in over speed and under speed relay. If the engine overspeeds or drops too low, the relay can trigger a shutdown or an alarm. It works on 8 to 30 V DC.
